  2. Pete,
A great result. I enjoyed seeing this idea develop and you produced really effective renderings to illustrate your concept. I think that effective concept designs are the ones that generate conversation. This one definitely does that and I think this is the case because it is such a playful concept with a flamboyant cantilevered arched roof. It feels cavernous and cosy without the risk of becoming dingy due to your material selection. I overheard during the presentation, a comment about transparency versus translucency. Josh also touched on this notion in his comment. I think it could be a neat compromise between privacy and visibility in suggesting a translucent material. Keep up the momentum in Semester 2 mate! Great working with ya this semester!

  3. it is true that nature is efficient in its design. Something as small as the ear is designed with such great understanding of how sound can be magnified. I was very impressed with your renderings as it expresses your shape very well, and also puts the product right in its environment. Its organic shape is very welcoming, and blends in with the surrounding environment. Well done!
